As a mixed identity Middle Eastern artist, facilitator and cultural provocateur I thrive in reflexive spaces that foster curiosity, creativity and center relationships.

  • As a creator, I practice holding space and generating ensemble collaboration. With strong interdisciplinary training, my work weaves together my practices in voice, movement, dance, puppetry, and imagination into multidisciplinary tapestries of meaning centering relationships. As a leader and administrator, I served as the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Eclipse Dance Theater (1995-2001) and was the Artistic Director of foolsFURY theater (2011-2022).   • As a professional voiceover artist, I have lent my voice to diverse video game characters, industry leading companies, and centers for arts education and culture. Past and current clients include; The Sims video games, “As Seen on TV” brands, Electronic Arts, LeapFrog Toys, Nickelodeon, PBS Kids Go, the San Francisco International Arts Festival, and more.   • I produce and facilitate spaces that focus on how people relate to and with one another. This includes artist retreats, anti-racism learning circles, and workshops in person and in the digital sphere. As an industry leader, I have presented at national theatre conferences including; Theatre Communications Group, the Network of Ensemble Theaters, MENATMA, and Theatre Bay Area. I produced and co-curated the biennial FURY Factory Festival of Ensemble and Devised Theater, (2005-2018) and conceived, produced and hosted the digital convenings BUILD from Here (2020), and BUILD Forward (2021) Download Producer/Facilitator Resume

  • For over 25 years, I have been an active theater, movement, and voice instructor for both professionals and the creatively curious. Areas of Instruction include: Ensemble theater making skills, Integrated Voice and Movement, Voiceover for characters and commercials, film and theater audition prep, puppetry, private coaching, and more.
